Bright and beautiful cement plant pot for home or garden

This cement plant pot is easy to make. I use fine cement and sand and add sufficient water to mix to a medium paste. The mold used is an empty plactic container that held dye bottles. The container is lined with plastic mesh you can obtain at adollar store. You will need a smaller plastic container to fit inside and weight it down. This will create the planting area. Allow to set for 24 to 48 hours, remove mesh carefully, sand lightly and paint with the color of your choice. If the plant pot will be outdoors, a protective finish like varathane is recommended.
